With sadness, we share the passing of Thomas R. Diehl Sr. of Fayetteville, Pennsylvania. Thomas, born on May 21, 1940, passed away on October 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Diehl and Margaret Diehl (Peters); his wife Karen S. Diehl (Shatzer); and his sisters, Marguerite Kneavel (John) and Janet Smith (Burnell).
He is survived by: his children, Christine Shively (Randy) of Chambersburg, Kelly Zambetti (Gary) of Venice, FL and Thomas R. Diehl, Jr. (Lydia) of Shippensburg; and his brothers, Frank Diehl and Gerald Diehl (Vickie). He is also survived by five grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church (320 Philadelphia Ave, Chambersburg, PA 17201). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
