It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Ankrom of Finleyville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 9, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Albert C. Ankrom, Jr.; and her sisters, Alice Mathers (Ronald) and Virginia Kaminski (Robert). She is survived by: her children, Thomas A. Simms IV, Nicole Helms (Anthony) and Shelly Ankrom (Tony Smith); her siblings, Dolores Spahr (late Jack), Lana Bolitho and Bernard "Buddy" Blank; her sibling-in-law Carel Blank; her grandchildren, Cheyanne, Chloe and Colton; and her great grandchildren, Easton and Evan.
