He was predeceased by: his parents, Mae Marie (Wehr) and Earl Rentschler Potteiger; his former wife Linda Lou Potteiger (Miller); and his sisters, Linda J. Peterman and Roberta M. Adam.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Jane Potteiger (Miller); his sons, Andrew M. Potteiger (Amanda J.) and Joshua E. Potteiger (Kristin R.); his grandchildren, Austin, Grace, Avery, Ella, Luke, Lily, Maisie and Wayne; his great grandchild Emma; his stepchildren, Andrea L. Wright (Michael Wright) and Jesse L. Boyer; and his siblings, Carol Andersen (Eric Andersen) of Laurel, DE, Marc Potteiger (Stacey Potteiger) of Fayetteville, GA and Thomas Potteiger (Cynthia Potteiger) of White, GA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
