He was predeceased by: his parents, John Spayd and Edna Spayd (Klee). He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Spayd (Gordon) of Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church; his daughters, Terry A. Royer (Matthew S. Royer) of Forest, VA, Tracy A. Schwenig (Raymond R. Schwenig) and Stefanie A. Huber (Christopher Huber); his grandchildren, Kaitlin, Travis, Christian (Charissa), Joshua (Mackenzie), Kayla, Elyse (Tanner), Maxwell and Hazel; his great grandchildren, Elaina, Sophia, Joanna, David, Ezriel, Arlo and Maia; his sister Helen Peters (Richard Peters); and his nephew Dale Peters (Barbara Peters) of Cincinnati, OH.
