He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert T. Sr. Schirf and Dorothy A. Schirf (Ernest); and his siblings, Madeline Lightner and Ronald Schirf. He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Catherine Schirf of Silver Spring, MD and Helen Marie Schirf of Lancaster, PA.; and his siblings, Herbert Schirf of Plano, TX, Janet Kazinski of Hollidaysburg, PA and William Schirf of Altoona.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home (1222 13th Ave, Altoona, PA 16601). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament.
