He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Stout and Mary Stout; his wife Joanne M. Stout; his siblings, Angelo Tocce and Rose Hicks; and his granddaughters, Bridget Zito and Melissa Stout.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Simila (Michael), James A. Stout, Jr. (Angie), John J. Stout (Lori), Lisa Stout McCormick (John Clark) and Sherri Borek (David); his grandchildren, Janell, Rachael, Amira, Jimmy, Samantha, Amber, Johnny, Lexi, Justin, Thomas, Randi, Julia, Jacob, Hailey and Abigail; his great grandchildren, Giana, Shelby, Ariella, Lanna, Jaxson, Emma, Sebastian, Alex, Logan, Harper, Gage and Estelle; and his sister Margaret "Peggy" Hartley. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
