She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Humenik and Grace Humenik. She is survived by: her husband Andrew "Butch" Oplako; her children, Edward Opalko (Ellen), Kristine Hirschfeld (Dan), Kim Opalko-Smolock (Joe), Andy Opalko (Catherine) and Darcie Opalko (Steve Barton); her grandchildren, James, Eddie, Josh, Nathaniel, Zachary, Jonathan and Patrick; and her sisters, Della Ballas and Donna Bowling.
