He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Pitt, (Horton) and Anthony Pitt, Sr.; his former wife Lorraine Pitt (Armbruster); and his stepson Kevin Lynn. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Pitt (Simons); his daughter Leslie Teresi; his sister Valerie Barber of Macungie, PA; and his grandson Ricky Nauman.
