She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Thomas and Cora Mellott Thomas; her husbands, Junior Diffenderfer and Charles Cowan; her son Roger Diffenderfer; and her sisters, Audrey Boos and Ethel Woodward.
She is survived by: her son Richard E. Diffenderfer of McConnellsburg; her grandson Nery Diffenderfer (Lexy); her great grandchildren, Liam and Delilah Diffenderfer; and her sisters, Bonnie Sollenberger, Elizabeth Helman and Patricia Heckman.
