He was predeceased by: his father Michael Malek; his brother Zachary Malek; and his grandparents, Edward, Sally Konefal, Mary and Frank Malek.
He is survived by: his mother Sarah M. Malek (Konefal); and his brothers, Joshua and Nathan Malek.
