With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marlene P. Alles of Forty Fort, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Zera and Susan Zera of Luzerne; and her daughter Jennifer Lynn Alles. She is survived by: her children, Karen Smith and George Alles IV; her granddaughter Kayla Lynn Smith; her siblings, Leonard J. Zera (Diane) and Susan Seitz (Robert); her nephew Matthew Zera (Caitlyn); and her niece Emily Miller (Patrick).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Marlene's memory to The American Kidney Fund or the National Kidney Foundation.
