She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Kolesar and Victoria Mudzik Kolesar; her husband Raymond David Meckalavage; her son David Meckalavage; her son-in-law Robert Szymanski; and her siblings, John, George, Daniel, Michael Kolesar and Dianne Kolesar.
She is survived by: her daughter Rosanne Szymanski; her daughter-in-law Patricia Meckalavage; and her granddaughter Melissa Meckalavage. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wroblewski Funeral Home (1442 Wyoming Ave, Forty Fort, PA 18704). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Wroblewski Funeral Home, Inc. (1442 Wyoming Ave, Forty Fort, PA 18704). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (605 Luzerne Ave, West Pittston, PA 18643).
