We bid farewell to Genevieve Bogan of Fox Chapel, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 18, 2025 at the age of 83. Genevieve touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As Genevieve departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Genevieve. Though Genevieve may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Antoni Stanley and Genevieve Constance Orkwiszewski Kolodziejski; her husband Henry Stanley Bogan Jr.; and her brothers, Daniel Robert and Anthony Kolodziejski.
She is survived by: her children, Danielle D. Bogan of Pittsburgh and Phillip M. Bogan of Sykesville, MD; her grandchildren, Gunnar Rainer Bogan and Sonja Vanvick Bogan; her sister Theresa Enfiejian (Terry) of Stafford, VA; and her sister-in-law Barbara Kolodziejski of Cranberry Twp.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lower Burrell Funeral Home (3124 Leechburg Rd, New Kensington, PA 15068). A prayer will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Margaret Mary Church (3055 Leechburg Rd, Lower Burrell, PA 15068).
