It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Robert D. Allen of Fox Chapel, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 75, on April 27, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

As we bid Robert farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Robert is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joan Allen (Lenard); his children, Jessica Allen, Kendall Allen and Chase Allen; his grandchildren, Avaya Allen and Mackenzie Cieszynski; his brothers, David Allen (Marcie) and Richard Allen; and also Elisa Solomon.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Weddell-Ajak Funeral Home (100 Center Ave, Aspinwall, PA 15215). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Scholastica Church (309 Brilliant Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15215).

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions in Bob's name to Greensburg Central Catholic High School or to Animal Friends.

Rae Hallstrom wrote a sympathy message

“Mom (Gloria Uhlig) and I both loved cousin Robby. She was always happy to see him. He treated her to a good restaurant dinner a few times after she was widowed and living at St. Barnabas in Valencia. Now, Mom has dementia and lives with me in Ohio. She has no memory that I have told her of Robby's passing (3 times!). No point trying again. But each time I gave her the news, she remembered Robby right away, which is a tribute to his good and loving nature. Bless him! Rae Hallstrom”
