It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marion T. Basheda of Frackville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As Marion departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Marion. Though Marion may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Upanavage and Mary Upanavage; her husband Stephen Basheda; and her grandson Billy. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Kanehann and Stephen; her grandchildren, Katherine, Jack and Michael; and her brother Gene Upanavage.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Ann's Catholic Church (49 N Line St, Frackville, PA 17931).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, in Marion's name, be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
