It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Ackell of Frackville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 19, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert Ackell to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ackell and Mabel Ackell (Savin); and his wife Christine "Tina" Ackell. He is survived by: his children, Robert Ackell (Marcie) of Lavelle, Joseph Ackell (Lindsey) of Coatesville and Michelle Ackell of Wilkes-Barre; his sisters, Valerie Bukowski (John) of Frackville, Mary Ellen Reilly (late James Reilly) of Catasaqua and Georgine Mankewicz (Walter) of Shenandoah Heights; and his grandchildren, Alissa, Brody, Brook, Hayden, Nolan and Kellen. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Robert's memory may be made to the FBPA at PO Box 261 Frackville, PA 17931 to help "Light up Frackville" for new town Christmas Lights.
