With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles E. Rea (Franklin, Pennsylvania), who passed away on July 6, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford I. Rea and Lois Rea (Watson); and his brother John Fulton Rea (Sharon). He is survived by: his wife Marcia Rea (Stamm); his sons, John Andrew Rea (Lois) of Philipsburg, PA and James Edward Rea (Susan) of Loysville, PA; his grandchildren, Rebekah Diehl (Alfred), Abigail Ireland (Aaron), Joshua (Katie), Adam and Ethan; his great grandchild Callie Rea Diehl; his sister Donna Rea Boocks (Gale); and his sibling's children, Beth, Dan, Eric and Becky.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar Huff-Guthrie Funeral Home & Cremation Services (312 W Park St, Franklin, PA 16323). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
