He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Ritter and Evelyn Kobbee Ritter; his sons, Charles Ritter Jr. and Craig McDowell; and his siblings, Sue Koch and Carson Ritter.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Marburger Ritter; his children, Joseph of Fombell, Harry Ritter of Fombell, Sherry Ritter of Franklin Twp and Michele Herzog of Ellwood City; his sisters, Ramona Bubb of Ellport and Juanita Rocco of Florida; and his grandchildren, Tyler Engle, Austin Herzog, Corey, Dakota, Cheyenne, Landon, Trevor Ritter and Logan Plutnicki.
