He was predeceased by: his father Roy E. Hines; his brother Jason Ross; and his stepmother Kristy Hines. He is survived by: his mother Kay Hines of Seneca; his children, David Hines of Franklin, Julie Hines of Franklin and Megan Hines of Franklin; his sister Valerie Wheeling (Monte) of Cooperstown; his friend Darlene Edwards of Franklin; and his sibling's children, Matthew, Michael Wheeling and Jossilynn Ross.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Hillman Cancer Center.
