He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl D. Baker Sr. and Ethalyn Lesher Baker; his wife Nancy L. Gifford; and his siblings, Betty Persing, Kenneth Baker and Sharon Baker.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debora L. Ward (Rick), Diane L. Matthews (Paul) of Reading and Darlene L. Baker (Brent Ross) of Franklin; his siblings, Norma Hogue and Carl D. Baker Jr. (Pam); and his grandchildren, Donnie Sanford, Gary Sanford, David Kope, Denise Loch, Cassandra Christiansen and DeWane Mong. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
