With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Mae Brink Allen of Franklin, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 11, 2024 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Doris Mae Brink Allen to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Alvin "Jack" Brink and Viola Casselbury Brink; her husband Harold Francis Allen; her son Ricky Eugene Hoover; her grandson Tony Eltringham; and her brother Fred Brink.

She is survived by : her children, Harold Lee Allen of Fort Worth, Daniel Allen of Texas, Kenneth Hoover Jr. of Towanda, Dale Hoover of Franklindale, Keith Hoover of Franklindale and Wendy Allen Smith (Bill) of Franklindale; her grandchildren, Randy, Brandon, Brock, Kaleb, Kelsea, Chris, Jake, Kristi, Kinski, Bree and Deanna; and her sisters, Beverly "Judy" Terascavage of Homets Ferry and Gertrude Newman of LeRaysville. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Maryott-Bowen Funeral Home (217 York Ave, Towanda, PA 18848). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

The family suggests that contributions be directed to the Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Department, 15 Grange Road, Monroeton, PA 18832 in memory of Doris Mae Brink Allen.
