It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evelyn Helen Unger of Franklin, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 16, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph W. Unger, Sr.; and her siblings, Victor Henke, Catherine Reid and Rose Ebitz. She is survived by: her children, Gwen Misencik (James), Joe Unger (Beth) and Victor Unger (Lisa); her grandchildren, James (Val), Nicholas (Sarah), Alan (Emily), Joe III (Kalyn), Karen, Ashley (Evan) and Shane (Mallory); her great grandchildren, Stacia, Carley, Nicholas Jr., Nathan, Jolynn and Jenna; and her friend Shirl English Brunner. She is also survived by grand kids and great grandkids who referred to her as great nanny.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in her name to the former St Mary Church Glenfield, now called St. Mary Church, part of Divine Redeemer Parish, 200 Walnut St. Sewickley, PA 15143.
