He was predeceased by: his parents, Seldon T. Bean and Erma Littlefield-Bean; his daughter Heather Bean; and his grandson Tyler Bean. He is survived by: his wife Char L. Bean; his children, Chad Bean, Jason Bean, Darcy Henderson, Shawn Bean, Melissa Bean, Frank Seidel and Andrea; his grandchildren, Madilyn, Maverick, Jayden, Emma, Seldon, Braysen, Robin, Nino and Nele; and his pet Bella.
