With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene E. Rexford of Franklin, Pennsylvania, born in Wellsville, New York, who passed away on July 11, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth "Johnny" Rexford and Marion Rexford. He is survived by: his wife Priscilla Green Peterson; his son Dr. Kenton D. Rexford (Lauren) of Pittsburgh; his stepson Gregg Peterson (Tracey) of Pittsburgh; his sisters-in-law, Dolores Sutliff (William) and Arlene Wise (Will); his former wife Carol Tanner; and his brother Jerry Rexford (Janet).

He also served on the United Way Board and was Vice President for VARHA and was Chairman of RSVP Advisory Council of Venango County.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to the Rotary Foundation and sent to the Franklin Rotary Club, P.O. Box 589, Franklin, PA 16323 or DeBence Antique Music World 1261 Liberty St. Franklin, PA 16323.
