Harley Ross Bauer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 22, 2025, at the age of 88, Harley Ross Bauer of Franklin, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry L. Bauer and Sarah Ocie Swartzlander Bauer; his former spouse Shirley Harbin; his wife Patricia Griffin; and his siblings, Verna Flick, Anna Mae Anderson, Dorthea Cochrane, Jane Bowser, Olive Best, Joye Knight and Harry Leroy.
He is survived by: his children, Victoria Rhea (Frank Alvin) of Pittsburgh and Keith Bauer (Kelly) of Lake Wylie, SC; his stepchildren, Rodney Griffin (Melissa) of Franklin, Debbie Sweetapple (Rod) of Clintonville and Steve Wagner (Jamie) of Tionesta; and his brother-in-law Elwin Rhoades (Marga) of East Springfield. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the William N. Rupert Mortuary (430 Mendenhall Ave, Knox, PA 16232). A masonic service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 5:45 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
