In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Howard leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Howard may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard VonSchaven and Catherine VonSchaven; and his sister Marlene Duffy. He is survived by: his wife Carol VonSchaven (Kennedy); his children, Jennifer McCurry (John) and Jim (Liberty); his grandson David McCurry; and his sister MaryKay Amidon. He is also survived by loving relatives, friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Devlin Funeral Home (806 Perry Hwy, Pittsburgh, PA 15229). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Saints Johnand Paul Church (2586 Wexford Bayne Rd, Sewickley, PA 15143).
