He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl P. Barnes and Florence Barnes (Slingliff); his wife Nola L. Morrison; his sisters-in-law, Barbara Donehue of Erie and Frances Johnston of Whittier, CA; his siblings, Judy Kresenske (James) and Gary Lee Barnes; and his brothers-in-law, Barry Johnston and Howard Donahue.
He is survived by: his sons, James E. Barnes (Trudy) of Seneca, Gary Lee Barnes of Franklin and Herbert W. Barnes of Franklin; his grandchildren, Richard W. Barnes of Elizabethtown and Laura J. Barnes of Pittsburgh; his great grandchild Mark Baker; his goddaughter Amy Green Miller (Aaron) of Franklin; his friends, Randy and Tina Boyd; and his family, John, Shelley Keener, Bob and Karen Crisman. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and his extended family.
