He was predeceased by: his parents, James Clarence and Dora Helen Keener (Morrison); his daughter Debra Sue; and his brothers, Jimmy, Richard, Marvin, Clarence, Dave and Donald Keener.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Lee Bean of Franklin; his daughters, Jamie Lynn Keener of Franklin and Terri Ann Keener (Missy Thompson) of Radford, VA; and his siblings, Melvin "Turtle" Keener (Diane) of Townville, PA and Marilyn Sherman (Dan) of Wattsburg, PA..
