With solemn reverence, we commemorate John Best of Franklin, Pennsylvania, whose life came to an end on November 8, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert L. Best and Joanna Best (Blauser); and his siblings, Herbert Jr. Best, Marge Best, Oakley Osborne and Kathryn Osborne.
He is survived by: his wife Inez Best; his children, Deborah Karns (David) and Daniel Best (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Dustin Karns (Dani), Danielle Best, Sheena Griffin (Michael) and Cody Best; his great grandchildren, Dalton, Cambree, Kelsee Karns, Austin, Jozlynn Griffin, Gavin Barthen and Kadin Irwin; and his sister Barbara Kifer (Bud). He is also survived by his wife and children.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hile-Best Funeral Home (2781 PA-257, Seneca, PA 16346). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice through the Venango VNA Foundation, 491 Allegheny Blvd., Franklin, PA 16323.
