John W. Hicks Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on April 30, 2021 we had to say goodbye to John W. Hicks of Franklin, Pennsylvania, born in Butler, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward C. Hicks and Della Mae Hicks (Buchanan); his brother Edward L. Hicks; and his sister-in-law Virginia "Ginny" Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Lucinda C. Baker; his daughters, Della M. Hanna and Suzanne D. Sharrer (Allen R.); his grandchildren, Nicole R. Fiely (Joseph), Zack A. Sharrer (Hunter Ditzenberger) and Ryan S. Hanna; his great grandchildren, Jaxen M. Fiely and Kolton W. Fiely; his brother James H. Hicks; and his pet Chloe.

The funeral home will have social distancing protocols in place and strongly recommends those who are attending to wear masks.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in John's honor to the American Diabetes Association, 2 Chatham Center, Suite 1520, 112 Washington Place, Pittsburgh, PA 15219; and/or to the V.E.T.S.
