Joretta M. Widmyer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joretta M. Widmyer (Franklin, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 18, 2024 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joretta M. Widmyer to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry P. Swartzfager and Nettie Irene Swartzfager (Metz); her siblings, Phyllis, Catherine (June), Harry Jr., Ernest and Ada Virginia; her husband Henry "Hank" A. Widmyer; and her daughters-in-law, Linda Widmyer, Violet Widmyer and Sally Guth.
She is survived by: her children, Ralph E. Widmyer of Spartansburg, SC, Wallace "Wally" Widmyer of Spartansburg, SC and Virginia M. Rial (Jack) of Henry's Bend; her grandson Michael Widmyer (Jami) of Moore, SC; and her children, Marcy Jo Brown of Franklin, Meda Lawrence of Franklin, Teresa Winger (Michael) of Franklin, PA, Robert Widmyer (Amanda) of Fort Bliss, TX, David Widmyer (Anna) of Sarasota, FL, Travis Repman (Danita) of Kings Mountain, NC, Benjamin Widmyer (Mariya) of Lyman, SC and Jeffrey Rial (Taylor) of Fredericksburg, VA.. She is also survived by three children, nine grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren.
