He was predeceased by: his father Joseph R. Brown Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Mary Ellen Beals Brown; his wife Charity A. Kemp; his children, Gracie Brown of Oil City, Noah Brown of Oil City and Josie Brown of Oil City; his sisters, Mary Rice (Bud) of Oil City, Faith Prichard (Jamie) of Oil City, Christina Brown of Oil City and Amanda Brown (Jay) of Oil City; and his close friend Leigh Ann Pikna. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
