With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois Young Burns of Franklin, Pennsylvania, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 30, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter H. Young and Gladys Work Young; her siblings, William Dwayne Young (Monica) and Virginia Evans (Ronald); and her brother-in-law Raymond Burns (Ailene).

She is survived by: her children, Willard "Chip" Burns, Jr. (Joan), Darlene Eakin (Richard "Dick") and Sandra Burns-Lewis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
