As Lucus departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lucus may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lucus leaves behind.
He is survived by: his mother Deborah Barber; his wife Kara L. Symons; his sons, William, Noah and Jacob Kauffman; his siblings, Matthew Kauffman (Laurel) of Madison, OH, Brad Kauffman (Kelly) of Reno and Casey Kauffman of Franklin; his mother-in-law Mary Ellen Symons of Oil City; and his sister-in-law Susane Hogue (Phil) of Pittsburgh.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Two Mile Run County Park (471 Beach Rd, Franklin, PA 16323).
Memorials may be made to Two Mile Run County Park in his memory.
