She was predeceased by: her parents, John Martin Amsler and Ada Amsler (Smith); her husband Charles "Orval" Best; her children, Arnold Best, Ronald Best, Joyce Best, Joann Irwin and Vicki Resinger; her brother Walter Amsler; and her siblings-in-law, Harry Theis Jr. and Betty Wetzel.
She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Best (Louise) of Erie and Walter Best (Barbara) of Emlenton; her sister Charlotte Theis of San Leandro; her daughter-in-law Theresa Best of Erie; her nephew Henry Theis III; and her niece Charlotte Theis of Wheeler, California.. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Venango County Humane Society, 286 S. Main St., Seneca, PA 16346.
