She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur DeLong and Edna DeLong; her husband Wayne Eakin; her siblings, Lorraine Warham (Herb), June DeLong, Basil DeLong (Dona) and Richard (June); her granddaughter Kara Bell; her mother-in-law Edith Eakin; and her brothers-in-law, James Eakin (Lucille Hoovler), Harry Eakin (Lawrence Eakin) and Arthur Barnes (Mary Murdock).
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Stephen Eakin (Mary) of Altavista, VA, Shelley Bell (Frank) of New Wilmington and Stan Eakin of Franklin; her grandchildren, Nathan Eakin (Lauren), Bradford Eakin, Natalie Angell (Cory), Maria Wyatt (Jacob), Matthew Eakin (Alexis), Ryan Bell, Casey Aydin (Burak), Crosby Record (Erik) and Marley Eakin; her great grandchildren, Harper, Joshua, Bryson Eakin, Hayden, Kolbie, Tate Angell, Luca, Liam, Asa Wyatt and Thalia Orsine; her in-laws, Jane Barnes, Robert and Carol Eakin; and her father-in-law Elmer. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (1041 Liberty St, Franklin, PA 16323).
