She was predeceased by: her parents, William M. Shaffer and Shirley A. Shaffer (Carter); her father-in-law Robert L. Groves Sr.; and her nephew Nicholas Dilley. She is survived by: her husband Robert L. Groves Jr. of Franklin; her sons, Curt Shaffer (Susan) of Reno, Bobby Groves (Kayla) of Franklin and Shawn Groves (Emily) of Elizabethtown, KY; her brothers, William Shaffer Jr. (Kathy) of Polk and Stephen Shaffer (Kim) of Greenwood, SC; her mother-in-law Dolores Groves of Oil City; and her sister-in-law DeeDee Kistler of Franklin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the Groves family asks that donations be made to the funeral home via the funeral home website to help with expenses.
