Peggy Kilgore Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Kilgore of Franklin, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 4, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles R. O'Brien and Lois I. O'Brien (Edy); her husband Lawrence D. Kilgore; her son DeWayne Kilgore; her stepson Bob Kilgore; her grandchildren, Ann Marie Kilgore and Michael; and her sister Betty Foster.
She is survived by: her stepson Jim Kilgore (Pam) of Polk; her sons, Don Foster of Cooperstown and Dick McVay of Kansas City, KS; her cousin Shelly Weller; her friends, Shirley Deeter, Norma Lepley and Patty Osborn; and her close friend Karen Wood. She is also survived by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gardinier-Warren Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. (1315 Chestnut St, Franklin, PA 16323). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Peggy's name to the Venango County Humane Society, 286 S. Main Street, Seneca, PA 16346 and Precious Paws Animal Rescue, PO Box 784, Franklin, PA 16323.
