With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Richard A. Mihleder of Franklin, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, John G. Mihleder and Zelma Perrine Mihleder; his stepmother Mae Mihleder; his mother-in-law Lela Heffernan; his brothers, John and Charles Mihleder; and his granddaughter Dusty Carter.
He is survived by: his spouse Garnet Marie Heffernan; his children, Peggy Owens (Dave) of Polk, Cinda Carter of Reno and Jeffrey Mihleder (Deb) of Franklin; his grandchildren, Jon Keas, Jr. (Cassie), Erin Keas (Beth), Jennifer Cratty (Jerrod), David Owens, Steph Berg (Todd), Stephanie Gordon (Dan), Chad Mihleder (Stephanie) and Chelsea Wolbert (Tom); and his sister-in-law Betty Heffernan. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Grace Church of Rocky Grove (350 Front St, Franklin, PA 16323).
