He is survived by: his children, James Highgate of Franklin and Melissa Highgate of Meadville; his granddaughter Kylee Highgate of Meadville; his great grandchildren, Ivan and Amelia; and his sisters, Mary Whitman of Franklin and Betty Cornmesser of Franklin.
