He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyrus W. Daugherty and Luella Clark Daugherty; his sons, Steven and Ronald Daugherty; and his siblings, Jean Weaver, Lois Shultz, Charles and Ken Daugherty.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lori Switzer (Fred) and Amy Ginkel (Mike); his daughter-in-law Cathy Daugherty; his sister Brenda Seigworth; his cousin Dennis Clark; and his grandchildren, Jillian Podosek (Eric), Michael Daugherty, Daniel Switzer (Heather Grimm), Kyle Ginkel, Jennifer Daugherty, Gavin Switzer and Samantha Daugherty.
