She was predeceased by : her parents, Abner Leister and Mamie Leister (Boyer); and her brothers, Leroy and Ronald Leister. She is survived by : her children, Dana Stauffer (Helen) and Gail Smith (Bill); her grandson Billy Smith (Cary); and her great grandchildren, Landon and Adelyn Smith.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marie's memory to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 1809 Hoffmansville Rd., Sassamansville, PA 19472.
