He was predeceased by: his parents, James Potter and Dorothy Potter (McAteer); and his brothers, James Potter and Billy Potter. He is survived by: his wife Linda Potter (Bayorek); his children, Monica Bigley (Paul), Michael Potter and Dory Pierce; and his stepdaughters, Joann Guyaux (Thomas) and Nikki Stevens (Mike). He is also survived by 5 granddaughters and 1 grandson, 4 step-granddaughters and 3 step-grandsons; and a combination of 13 great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. (833 Kennedy Dr, Ambridge, PA 15003). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
