He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Copenhaver; his daughter Shelley Decker; and his brothers, William Copenhaver Sr. and Quentin Copenhaver Jr.. He is survived by: his sister Mary Helman; his daughter Kimberly Whipperman; and his grandsons, Zachary Whipperman, Evan Whipperman and Dylan Decker. He is also survived by his three great-grandsons.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Middletown Cemetery (9 N 26th St, Freeland, MD 21053).
