He is survived by: his wife Donna M Fairchild (Swerdon); his children, Lisa M Fairchild-Cox (Steve Cox) of London, UK, Brian K Fairchild of Weatherly, James L Fairchild (Leticia Pence) of Orlando, FL and Jennifer Baloga (Vincent) of Upper Lehigh; his siblings, Wayne R Fairchild of Freeland and Phyllis E Mekolichick of Hazleton; his grandchildren, Katrina, Brian, Lindsey, Zaine, Jack, Charlotte and Azariah; and his great grandchildren, Hunter and Wade.

They would also like to thank the staff at Rock Steady/Fyzical Therapy & Balance Center where he participated in the Rock Steady boxing program for those afflicted with Parkinson's Disease.
