He is survived by: his wife Dolores Gorski; his sons, Paul (Nadine), Jim (Mary) and Robert; his sister Anna Plaksa; and his son-in-law Art Thompson.

“I grew up across the alley from Babe. I remember sitting on my Granny, Irene’s porch with her husband Joe on their side of the half double, with Babe and Deloris sitting on their side, chit chatting for hours. Babe had the best tree in his very backyard that as kids we used to pop wheelies with our bikes over its roots. He was always tending to his backyard. He made the neighborhood feel safe.
