He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard G. Sweeny and Frances Sweeny (Yetter); and his brothers, Leroy and Richard Sweeny (Betty). He is survived by: his sons, Thomas C. Sweeny, Jr. (Anne) of Freeport, Eric L. Sweeny (Teri) of Freeport and Matthew J. Sweeny (Missi) of Buffalo Township; the mother of his children Marsha Sweeny (Hughes) of Natrona Heights; his niece Roxanne Kleeburg (Fred) of West Dundee, IL; his grandchildren, Megan Varley (Alec), Kaiti, Emily, Shane, Hannah and Eryn; and his great grandchildren, Josephine and Sabrina.
