He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Clinton Hay and Ruth Hay Fieg (Patton); and his sister Phyllis Hay. He is survived by: his wife Darlee Shaffer; his children, Heather Ohler (Robert Jr.), Keith Hay (Stephanie) and James Hay (Jenna); his grandchildren, Levi, Natalie Ohler, Wyatt Clinton Hay, Ryan, Alex Ginter, Addyson, Titus and Autumn Hay; and his brother Alan Hay (Marie).
