He is survived by: his wife Dianne Sue Knowles; his children, Matthew Nelson of Friendsville, PA and Christine Nelson (Tony De Ruvo) of Endwell, NY.; his grandson Jakob Pitcher of Johnson City, NY.; his great grandchild Jackson Pitcher of Windsor, NY.; his brother Everett Knowles of Davenport, WA.; and his niece Gerogie Van Valkenburg (Brian).
