With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dana Earl Hess of Galeton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 22, 2025 at the age of 49. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elwyn "Barney" Hess and Tina Hess (English) of Westfield; his friend Alex; his daughter Gracie; his wife Jeannie Hess of Galeton; his siblings, Gregory Wood (Laurie), Jeannine Louca (Chris), Miroslav Trnka (Vera Trnkova) and Marinka Wuorenmaa (Antii-Markus Rantatorikka); his nieces and nephews, Allan Wood (Kassie Burch), Andrew Louca, Evelyn Louca and Courtney Daum (Johnny) of Elmira, N. Y.; his great-niece Willo Wood; his siblings-in-law, Francis, Scott, Freddie Amann and Pam "Sue" Whitmire; and his mother-in-law Jessie Cole. He was also cherished by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Goodyear Hose Company, the Gale Hose Ambulance Association or to Clymer Baptist Church.
